=== Cleveland Cavaliers Team Report - November 22 ===

(Basketball News) - The Cleveland Cavaliers had their six-game winning streak stopped on Sunday with a 98-88 loss to the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden.

Drew Gooden led the way for Cleveland with 25 points and 15 rebounds. LeBron James struggled from the floor, missing 10 of 15 shots, but still had 13 points, nine rebounds and 10 assists.

After an even first quarter, the Knicks outscored the Cavaliers 29-16 in the second to take a 13-point cushion into the intermission at 51-38.

But the Knicks nearly coughed up the entire lead in the third quarter, thanks to poor transition defense. Cleveland outscored the Knicks 33-22 in the third, to make it a two-point New York lead entering the fourth.

Jamal Crawford then caught fire, scoring 11 points in the opening 5:20 of the fourth quarter. He capped a 18-10 run with a jumper to make it 91-81 with 6:40 remaining in the game. The Cavaliers never got closer than eight points the rest of the way.

The Cavs return to action on Wednesday when they host the Detroit Pistons.
