Clippers’ Richardson placed on IL

Richardson originally hurt his back on March 7 against Portland. He has since missed five of Los Angeles’ last six games. In his fourth season out of DePaul, Richardson is in the midst of a breakout year, averaging 17.7 points and 6.4 rebounds in 62 games.

To take his roster spot, the Clippers signed guard Randy Livingston to a 10- day contract. Livingston was playing for the Idaho Stampede of the CBA.
