According to the Denver Post, Scott, who coached at Princeton for the last two years, will take over a Denver program which finished 4-25 this past season.
It will be a return to the Rockies for the Princeton graduate. Before his stint with the Tigers, Scott coached four seasons at Air Force, going 51-63, but was named Mountain West Conference coach of the year after a 22-7 campaign in 2004 and an NCAA tournament berth.
The 41-year-old replaces Terry Carroll, who left the university unexpectedly in December and was fired on March 3. Carroll compiled a 79-99 mark in six seasons with the Pioneers.
