Cuban, wearing a Jerry Stackhouse jersey, ran onto the court after Dallas’ 101-100 overtime loss to the Miami Heat to criticize the officials. There were a number of questionable calls by the refs in the final seconds, one being a foul call that put Dwyane Wade on the free throw line for the winning points with 1.9 seconds left.
The reason for Cuban’s attire was to recognize Mavs’ suspended guard Jerry Stackhouse, who was serving a one-game penalty for a flagrant foul that occurred in Game 4.
Cuban, one of the most outspoken owners in NBA history, has been fined 13 times resulting for over $1.6 million by the league over his tenure in Dallas.
