(Basketball News) - Carmelo Anthony had 28 points and seven rebounds to lead the Denver Nuggets to their sixth straight victory, a 98-91 triumph over the Golden State Warriors on Friday in the second half of home-and-home set from the Pepsi Center.

The last time the Nuggets won six straight games was January 21 - February 2, 1991.

Andre Miller dished out 14 assists to go along with 14 points and Marcus Camby scored 13 and hauled down 13 boards for the Nuggets, who have won two straight against the Warriors after dropping the previous four meetings.

Denver will return to the court on Sunday when they host the Boston Celtics.
