(Basketball News) - The Denver Nuggets try to stay on the winning track this evening when they welcome the Phoenix Suns to the Pepsi Center.
Denver enters tonight’s contest on a winning note after Voshon Lenard scored 17 points to lead six Nuggets in double figures in a 96-75f rout over the Utah Jazz last night at the Delta Center.
Earl Boykins added 15 points while Carmelo Anthony contributed 14 for the Nuggets, who beat the Jazz in Salt Lake City for the first time in 15 tries.
Marcus Camby had 12 and Andre Miller and Rodney White added 10 each for Denver, which has won three of its last five games overall.
The Nuggets, who at 25-18, have already won eight more games than they did all of last season, have won three of their last four games at home and are 16-7 in the Rockies this year.
Denver has beaten the Suns twice already this season and has won six of the last 10 meetings. Phoenix, though, has won 20 of the last 27 matchups and is 5-3 in its last eight trips to Denver.
