(Basketball News) - The Golden State Warriors play the second of a four-game road trip, as they visit the Miami Heat on Monday at AmericanAirlines Arena.

It will be the second and final meeting of the season between the teams. On January 12, the Heat defeated the Warriors, 98-91, at The Arena in Oakland. Overall, Miami has won two straight and eight of the last 10 in this series.

Golden State has lost nine straight at Miami. The last time the Warriors beat the Heat on the road was on November 24, 1993.

On Saturday, Kenyon Martin poured in a game-high 24 points and grabbed nine rebounds as the Denver Nuggets routed Golden State, 107-91, at the Pepsi Center. Speedy Claxton’s 17 points led the way for Golden State, which has lost seven of its last eight games overall.

Zarko Cabarkapa scored 16 points off the bench for Golden State in Saturday’s loss, while Jason Richardson netted 13 in defeat. The Warriors shot a dismal 38 percent (33-of-86) from the field, including just 5-of-19 from three-point range.

Golden State is 4-27 when it scores under 100 points this season.

The Warriors, who will also visit the Orlando Magic on Tuesday and the New Orleans Hornets o Friday on the current swing, are a dismal 3-19 as the visitor. Golden State has lost nine straight on the road.

Golden State’s last win on the road was on December 26th against the Sacramento Kings at ARCO Arena.

Richardson has scored in double-digits in 37 of the 38 games that he played in this season and has logged 40 or more minutes in 17 of those contests. The Michigan State product has scored 20 or more points in nine of his last 10 games and is averaging 28 points in that span.

The Warriors return home on Sunday to host Steve Nash and the Phoenix Suns. Golden State is 0-1 against the Suns this season.
