=== Golden State Warriors Team Report - March 11 ===

(Basketball News) - The Golden State Warriors continued to struggle on Wednesday, as they fell for the seventh straight time overall and for the 19th consecutive time in Salt Lake City with a 91-77 loss to the Utah Jazz at the Delta Center.

Jason Richardson paced Golden State with 19 points. Mike Dunleavy chipped in 15 points and eight boards for the Warriors, who have dropped 10 of their last 12 games.

Trailing by 26 at the break, Golden State never seriously threatened in the second half. Two free throws by Avery Johnson with 11:22 remaining in the fourth quarter cut the deficit to 75-58.

However, the Jazz answered with a 9-4 run, culminated by Aleksandar Pavlovic’s basket, to push the margin back to 22.

Golden State, which has not won in Utah since November 11, 1994, got no closer than the final score.

Prior to the game, Golden State activated forward Troy Murphy from the injured list and he scored six points in 14 minutes. Murphy had missed the last 29 games due to a deep bone bruise and stress reaction in his left ankle. Meanwhile,

To make room for Murphy on the roster, guard Speedy Claxton was placed on the injured list with a fractured right hand. Claxton has missed the last seven contests with the injury.

The Warriors will return to action on Friday when they head to San Antonio to face Tim Duncan and the defending champion Spurs at the SBC Center.
