The Bobcats suffered their third straight loss on Sunday against the Memphis Grizzlies at FedExForum.
Gerald Wallace led the Bobcats with 25 points and seven boards in the 102-95 setback. Kareem Rush scored 21 points off the bench, while Kevin Bright tallied 17 points and dished out 16 assists.
Charlotte, which is 3-6 in its last nine home games, is 13-21 as the host this season. After Tuesday’s game against the Hawks, the Bobcats will host Chicago, Cleveland and Minnesota.
Atlanta, meanwhile, has dropped four straight and eight of its last nine games.
On Sunday, Al Harrington scored 20 points in a 108-101 loss to the Orlando Magic at TD Waterhouse Center. Josh Childress scored 18 points and Zaza Pachulia finished with 16 and 12 boards.
The Hawks will close out a brief two-game road trip at Charlotte Bobcats Arena and have lost six in a row on the road.
Atlanta is 7-27 away from Philips Arena this season.
The season series between Charlotte and Atlanta is tied at a game apiece. The Bobcats posted a 93-90 win in Georgia on December 27, but Atlanta countered with a 102-92 victory in Charlotte on February 1.
Both teams will meet for the last time this season on April 14 in Atlanta.
