(Basketball News) - The Rockets fell apart late to drop a 99-94 decision to the Sacramento Kings at the Toyota Center.
Jim Jackson hit his initial 10 shots from the field and finished with 28 points and pulled down nine rebounds for the Rockets, who suffered their second straight loss.
Cuttino Mobley added 19 points and Maurice Taylor contributed 18 points and 14 boards. Taylor is second in the NBA with 12.1 points per contest off the bench.
Yao Ming posted 12 points and 11 rebounds for the Rockets, who fell for 14-6 at home.
The Rockets committed 24 turnovers while forcing only 10 by the Kings.
Houston has consecutive days off before returning to the court against New Jersey on Saturday night.
