Iverson and Richardson earn Player of the Week honors 11.17.2003

Iverson averaged 31.7 points, 7.7 assists, 4.0 rebounds and 3.67 steals per game for the Sixers, who went 2-1 during the week. The guard led the NBA in minutes per game, was second in scoring and steals per game and fifth in assists per contest.
Richardson averaged 27.3 points, 10.7 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.3 steals per outing to spark the Clippers to a 3-0 record. The guard recorded career-highs of 32 points and 16 rebounds on November 11 in a 115-103 win over Atlanta.
Other candidates for Eastern and Western Conference Players of the Week were Miami’s Eddie Jones and Lamar Odom, New Jersey’s Kenyon Martin, New Orleans’ Baron Davis, Washington’s Gilbert Arenas, Golden State’s Jason Richardson, Memphis’ Pau Gasol, Portland’s Zach Randolph, Sacramento’s Peja Stojakovic and Seattle’s Ronald Murray.
