James was suspended on Monday for conduct detrimental to the team. He missed the Knicks’ 140-133 triple-overtime win over Phoenix that night, but did participate in three practices during the week, one of which was a voluntary session.
James is averaging only 3.4 points and 2.5 rebounds in 14 games this season.
In other team news, the Knicks were without guards Jamal Crawford and Quentin Richardson for their game versus the Wizards. Crawford missed the game with an ankle injury, while Richardson sat out the contest with back spasms.
