LeBron misses game with back spasms

03.13.2007

Cleveland, OH (Basketball News) - The Cleveland Cavaliers took the court Tuesday night against the Sacramento Kings without superstar forward LeBron James, who sat due to back spasms.

His supporting cast rose to the occasion, and the Cavs routed the Kings, 124-100.

This is the first game James has missed since January, when he sat out two games with a sprained right big toe. He will travel with the team to Memphis on Wednesday, where he will be re-evaluated prior to Cleveland’s game against the Grizzlies Wednesday night.

The Cavs are in the midst of a five-game winning streak, and are two games back of the Detroit Pistons in the Central Division.

James is averaging 27.4 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 5.9 assists per game this season.
