(Basketball News) - The Los Angeles Clippers travel to Denver this evening to face the Nuggets at the Pepsi Center.
Los Angeles comes into tonight’s tilt on the heels of a win over the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday. Elton Brand scored 26 points with 12 rebounds and five blocks to lead the Clippers to an 89-83 victory.
Corey Maggette also scored 26 points in the win.
Chris Kaman contributed season highs with 13 points and 12 boards for the Clippers, who won for just the third time in 11 games.
LA, which will start a two-game homestand after tonight’s contest, is 4-7 away from home this season.
Denver split its two matchups with the Clips last season and could hold the advantage tonight, as the home team in this series has won seven of 10 a d12 of the last 16 meetings. The Clippers have also won three of their last five in Denver.
