Miami Heat Team Report - November 20 11.20.2004

(Basketball News) - Dwyane Wade rattled in a jumper at the overtime buzzer, lifting the Miami Heat to a 107-105 victory over the Utah Jazz on Friday at AmericanAirlines Arena.
Wade poured in a career-high 39 points, including the final six for Miami in overtime. His baseline jumper gave the Heat a 105-103 lead with just 10.8 second remaining, but the last of a series of bad Miami fouls led to Utah’s Carlos Arroyo making a pair of game-tying free throws at the other end.
No matter, as Wade calmly held the ball at the point on the final play before letting fly a 20-foot jumper that rattled around the rim before falling.
Shaquille O’Neal added 22 points and 11 rebounds before fouling out in overtime. He scored five straight points early in the extra stanza for the Heat, who have won three of four.
Miami, which will continue its three-game homestand on Sunday versus the Philadelphia 76ers, is 4-1 at home this season.
Last season the Heat dropped three of four to Philadelphia and has lost 10 of 12 and 14 of the last 17 meetings. Miami has also been a generous host to the Sixers, losing six of its last eight at home in this series.
