(Basketball News) - The Bucks registered a 101-96 victory over the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden on Sunday.
Desmond Mason scored 22 points and Michael Redd added 14 in the winning effort. Joe Smith added 14 points, while Maurice Williams and Dan Gadzuric each netted 10 for the Bucks, who have won two in a row and three of four. Zaza Pachulia chipped in 13 off the bench in the win, while Gadzuric ended with 13 boards for the Bucks.
Redd is the team leader in scoring (21.7 ppg), while Mason is second with 16.6 points per contest. For the year, the Bucks are 16th in the league in scoring (95.4 ppg).
Milwaukee hit 45.1 percent from the field, including 3-of-10 (.300) from three-point range. The Bucks outrebounded the Knicks by a 42-38 margin, while hitting 24-of-28 (.857) from the free throw line.
The Bucks improved to just 5-16 on the road, as all of their road victories have come against Eastern Conference foes. Milwaukee remains in the cellar of the Central Division, nine contests back of the first place Cleveland.
Milwaukee has a couple of days off before opening its slate against Phoenix at the Bradley Center on Wednesday. The Bucks also host Denver on Friday before heading to Cleveland on Sunday evening.
