Milwaukee Bucks Team Report - March 27 03.27.2004
|
(Basketball News) - Joe Smith scored 23 points and Desmond Mason added 22 to lead the Milwaukee Bucks to a 115-105 victory over the Chicago Bulls on Friday at the United Center.
Damon Jones contributed 21 for the Bucks, who won for just the third time in their last 12 games. Michael Redd added 20 points in the win.
Despite its recent tailspin, Milwaukee is just a half-game behind New Orleans for the fourth spot in the Eastern Conference.
On the injury front, center Dan Gadzuric missed the game with a sprained right ankle and forward Keith Van Horn left the game with a sprained left ankle. Both players are listed as questionable for Sunday’s contest against the Houston Rockets.
The Bucks, who will kick off a two-game homestand on Sunday, have dropped three in a row at home and are 24-11 away from home this season.
Milwaukee lost to the Rockets earlier in the season and has dropped two of the last three meetings, and five of the last seven matchups in the series. The Bucks, though, have won two straight and four of their last five at home against Houston.
