NBA hands suspensions to Allen, Dooling 01.13.2006

Dooling received a five-game penalty after attempting to continue the scuffle in the hallway leading to the locker room following the ejections of both men. Allen was levied a three-game suspension.
The nasty incident occurred early in the second quarter of the Sonics’ 113-104 victory.
Dooling first clipped Allen in the mouth with an elbow, which clearly frustrated the Sonics All-Star.
Allen then fought through a Dooling screen, and on the other side of the basket Dooling charged after the UConn alum and ran into Allen, who hit the floor. As Dooling was standing above him, Allen picked up Dooling and two crashed into the stands. As they were trying to be separated, Dooling was throwing punches.
Dooling received a flagrant foul and the two were both given double technicals.
Both players will begin serving their sentences on Friday, when Seattle hosts Miami and Orlando visits Portland.
The Magic will also be without standout guard Steve Francis when they take the court against the Trail Blazers. Orlando suspended the three-time All-Star indefinitely on Thursday for conduct detrimental to the team.
