Atlanta Hawks Team Report - December 15 12.15.2004
|
(Basketball News) - The Atlanta Hawks visit the Houston Rockets tonight at the Toyota Center.
Atlanta defeated Houston, 88-84, at Philips Arena last month to snap a two- game series losing streak. The Hawks have, however, lost in five straight trips to Houston.
The Hawks have lost back-to-back games to New Jersey and Indiana, including Tuesday’s 108-97 overtime setback at home to the Pacers. Tony Delk posted 22 points off the bench for the Hawks, who missed their initial six shots from the floor in overtime to suffer their third loss in the last four games.
Al Harrington notched 21 points and 10 rebounds, while Antoine Walker registered 17 points and nine boards in the setback.
The Hawks blew a 12-point lead late in the tilt, and scored a mere 20 points in the fourth quarter and overtime combined.
Atlanta, 2-7 on the road, will return home to host Portland on Friday.
