Rosemont, IL (Basketball News) - Quemont Greer poured in a game-high 29 points and collected seven rebounds to lead the DePaul Blue Demons to a 70-59 victory over the Dayton Flyers in a non-league affair.
Drake Diener added 14 points for DePaul (3-1), while LeVar Seals tallied 12 points in the victory.
Monty Scott netted 14 points and grabbed eight boards for Dayton (1-2), while Norman Plummer chipped in 12 points in the losing effort. Trent Meacham contributed 10 points off the bench for the Flyers.
The Blue Demons netted 54.2 percent of their shots from the floor in the opening frame to take a 34-26 lead into the break.
DePaul connected on 12-of-19 shots from the foul line in the second stanza en route to the 11-point victory.
