NCAA Game Summary - Fullerton State at UC-Irvine

Irvine, CA (Basketball News) - Jamaal Brown tallied a game-high 22 points in leading the Fullerton State Titans to a 71-70 victory over the UC-Irvine Anteaters in Big West Conference action.

Ralphy Holmes turned in 17 points for the Titans (13-7, 7-4 BWC), while Bobby Brown chipped in with 10 points.

Ross Schraeder led the Anteaters (10-10, 4-8) with 21 points on 6-of-12 shooting from the floor. Greg Ethington added 16 points, while Davis Baker netted 13 points in the losing cause.

Despite shooting just 36.8 percent from the floor in the first half, Fullerton State was able to take a 36-30 lead into the break.

The Anteaters used a 26-9 run to close the gap in the second half, but it wasn’t enough in a one-point loss.
