Auburn Hills, MI (Basketball News) - Rasheed Wallace scored 15 points to lead Detroit past Minnesota, 91-80, in preseason action at The Palace of Auburn Hills.

Ronald Dupree had 13 points and seven rebounds while Chauncey Billups and Darko Milicic both netted 10 points for the Pistons.

Detroit head coach Flip Saunders was on the sidelines for the first time against his former team. Saunders coached Minnesota from 1995-2005 before replacing Larry Brown this past offseason.

Richie Frahm had 13 points and Trenton Hassell chipped in 12 for the Timberwolves, who shot just 37 percent from the floor (30-of-81).
