Bucks’ Simmons improving

11.10.2006

Milwaukee, WI (Basketball News) - The Milwaukee Bucks announced that Bobby Simmons’ injured right heel is improving, but the forward is still scheduled to remain on the shelf for the time being.

Team physicians conducted a scheduled one-month evaluation of the injury and indicated that Simmons will continue with rehabilitation. He is expected to return to the court in the next three to four weeks.

The swingman originally suffered the injury in training camp and has been sidelined since October 14.

The 26-yard old Simmons averaged 13.4 points and 4.4 rebounds in 2005-2006, his first season with Milwaukee. In five career seasons, with the Bucks, Los Angeles Clippers and Washington Wizards, Simmons has tallied 10.7 points and 4.3 rebounds per game.
