Celtics’ Olowokandi out 2-4 weeks

 
Boston, MA (Basketball News) - The Boston Celtics announced Friday that center Michael Olowokandi will miss two to four weeks with a slight tear in his abdominal muscle.

The 31-year old Olowokandi scored four points and grabbed four rebounds in a victory over Boston on Wednesday, but missed Thursday’s practice with stomach pain.

In six games this season, the seven-footer averaged 3.3 points and 2.7 rebounds in 12 1/2 minutes.
