Chicago Bulls Team Report - December 4 12.4.2004
|
(Basketball News) - Chicago was in action on Friday, but the Bulls were pounded by the Miami Heat, 105-81, at the United Center. Christian Laettner scored a game-high 23 points to lead Miami.
Kirk Hinrich had 17 points — all in the first half — and Chris Duhon contributed a career-high 15 for the Bulls, who have dropped two of three and fell to a dismal 2-11 on the season.
Chicago hasn’t been able to win consecutive games this season and is still trying for its first winning streak since posting back-to-back wins on March 19 and 20 of last season.
The Bulls have also failed to record a win against an Eastern Conference opponent this season. Chicago is 0-3 within the conference, thus far.
Chicago will visit the Washington Wizards tonight at the MCI Center.
Tonight’s game marks the first meeting of the season between the Bulls and Wizards. Washington took three of four from the Bulls last season and has won seven of the last nine matchups. Chicago has also been bad in the nation’s capital, dropping six straight and seven of its last eight in D.C.
