(Basketball News) - LeBron James scored 33 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to lead the Cleveland Cavaliers to a 99-88 win over the Golden State Warriors on Monday at Gund Arena.
Cleveland’s Zydrunas Ilgauskas added 16 points and seven rebounds while scoring five straight points to spark a 7-0 run midway through the fourth quarter after the Warriors tied the contest at 81-81.
Jeff McInnis tallied 20 points for the Cavs, who have won four straight after dropping their first three of the season to move over .500 for the first time in the James era.
The Cavs outscored the Warriors 42-26 in the paint. James has three double- doubles in his last four games and three 30-point games this season. The Cavs have won three straight at home and improved to 3-1 at Gund Arena.
Ilgauskas has scored in double-digits in four straight and five of Cleveland’s seven games this season. He has averaged 20 points and 8.6 rebounds so far in the new campaign.
Cleveland is off until Thursday when it visits the expansion Charlotte Bobcats for the first contest of a home-and-home set. The teams will meet once again on Saturday at Gund Arena. Thursday’s game will be the first-ever regular- season contest between the two teams.
