Mavs try to extend winning streak versus Warriors 12.30.2005

All-Star Dirk Nowitzki went 11-of-11 from the foul line and scored a game-high 23 points to lead Dallas past the Indiana Pacers, 102-80, on Monday at American Airlines Center.
Devin Harris added 20 points and Jerry Stackhouse netted 15 in the win over Indiana for the Mavericks, who have won 11 of their last 13 games overall. Jason Terry contributed 13 points, while Josh Howard posted 12 points and 10 rebounds in the victory.
On the injury front for Dallas, forward Keith Van Horn (illness) and guard Marquis Daniels (neck) are questionable for tonight’s game. Van Horn did not play against Seattle, while Daniels has missed three straight contests.
Dallas is 11-3 as the host this season. The Mavericks have won four in a row at American Airlines Center.
The Warriors begin a three-game road trip this evening. On Wednesday, Derek Fisher sliced his way to the hoop and his layup with 6.2 seconds remaining lifted Golden State to a 111-109 win over the Boston Celtics at The Arena in Oakland.
Fisher had nine points in the win over the Celtics, but Jason Richardson was the star with a game-high 36 points for Golden State, which ended a season- high five-game losing streak. Troy Murphy had 17 points and Mike Dunleavy added 15 in the victory.
Golden State, which will also visit Houston and Memphis on the current road trip, is 6-7 as the visitor this season. The Warriors have dropped four in a row on the road.
Dallas has scored over 100 points in 18 of the last 19 contests in this series. The Mavericks have won two straight and three of the last four meetings.
The Warriors have lost 13 of their last 15 at Dallas.
