McGrady returns to action

East Rutherford, NJ (Basketball News) - Houston Rockets All-Star Tracy McGrady returned to the lineup just in time for Saturday night’s game against the New Jersey Nets at Continental Airlines Arena.

McGrady was out due to back spasms. He played in the Rockets’ season opener, a win over the Sacramento Kings, but he had missed the last three games, all which were losses.

McGrady was originally expected to miss up to three weeks of action.

In the season opener, McGrady scored 23 points and pulled down five rebounds. For his career, he has averaged 22 points per game with 6.4 rebounds per contest.
