Miami Heat Team Report - March 15

(Basketball News) - Eddie Jones scored a team-high 23 points to lead the Miami Heat over the New Jersey Nets, 104-95, in an Atlantic Division battle at AmericanAirlines Arena.

Caron Butler added 18 points and six rebounds for the Heat, who have won five of their last six games.

Before Sunday’s game the Heat activated center Wang Zhi-Zhi and placed guard Bimbo Coles on the injured list with a sore back.

The Heat are off until Tuesday when they host the New Orleans Hornets. It will be the fourth and final meeting of the season between the two squads. The Heat are 2-1 against the Hornets this season.

Jones has scored in double digits in 13 straight games. He has averaged 17.1 points in that span.
