Nash to miss All-Star game 02.12.2007

Nash has missed the Suns’ past three games and will also be held out of Wednesday’s visit to Seattle, according to the Suns.
The two-time defending NBA MVP was voted to his fifth All-Star team on February 1 along with teammates Shawn Marion and center Amare Stoudemire.
Nash will also miss the annual Skills Challenge on Saturday as well as Sunday’s game, thus giving him two full weeks away from game conditions before the Suns play again in a road date against the Los Angeles Clippers on February 20.
Nash, however, will be in Las Vegas alongside fellow Western Conference injury victims Yao Ming and Carlos Boozer. League rules stipulate that All-Stars must be in attendance throughout All-Star Weekend even if they are injured and require ongoing rehab treatments.
The 33-year-old Nash is averaging career-highs of 19.3 points and 11.8 assists this season, the most in the league since John Stockton of Utah had 12.3 apg in 1994-95.
