The incident took place on Sunday with 10:13 left in the first quarter of Detroit’s 90-78 win at the Palace of Auburn Hills. Wallace was first called for a flagrant foul penalty one, but that was then upgraded by the league office to a flagrant foul penalty two status.
Wallace had 15 points and five rebounds in Sunday’s game and then scored 24 in Detroit’s 84-72 victory at Cleveland on Monday. Wallace is averaging 15.6 points and 6.8 rebounds per game this season.
