(Basketball News) - Paul Pierce collected 24 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists to lead the Boston Celtics over the Washington Wizards, 94-90, at the FleetCenter.
Mark Blount and Ricky Davis each netted 17 points for the Celtics, who won their fourth straight game for the first time since December.
Boston defeated the Wizards earlier in the year and has won 10 of 15 and 15 of the previous 21 matchups. The Celtics have also won 12 of their last 15 in Beantown against Washington.
Pierce has scored 21 or more points in six straight games. He has averaged 24.5 points, 6.8 rebounds and 5.7 assists in that span.
The Celtics are off until Sunday when they visit Kevin Garnett and the Minnesota Timberwolves. Earlier this season, the Timberwolves defeated Boston, 116-95 at the FleetCenter.
