Bradley heading to Orlando

07.29.2004

Orlando, FL (Basketball News) - Free agent forward Michael Bradley has signed with the Orlando Magic after spending his three-year NBA career with the Toronto Raptors and Atlanta Hawks. As per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Bradley missed 59 games last year after opening the season on the injured list with right knee tendinitis. He played in five games with Toronto before being waived on March 12, and was picked up by Atlanta six days later.

He was originally selected as the No. 17 overall pick in the 2001 draft by Toronto. In 109 career regular season games, he is averaging 3.5 points and 4.2 rebounds while playing 14.3 minutes per contest.

The 6’10" Bradley was a standout in college, capturing an NCAA Championship in 1998 with Kentucky before transferring to Villanova for his junior season. During the 2000-01 season with Villanova he was tops in the NCAA in field goal percentage (.692), 16th in rebounding (9.8) and 20th in scoring (20.8).
