On Wednesday, Stephen Jackson scored a game-high 24 points and added six assists, as Indiana rolled to a 112-88 victory over Milwaukee at Conseco Fieldhouse.
Dan Gadzuric had 17 points and T.J. Ford contributed 16 for the Bucks. Leading scorer Michael Redd scored just 13 points on 4-for15 shooting in the loss.
The Pacers enjoyed an 81-66 lead after three quarters and the Bucks never got anything going in the fourth quarter and were outscored 31-22 over the final 12 minutes en route to suffering the 24-point loss. The Bucks also made just 3- of-14 from behind the arc.
During the recent cold streak, the Bucks’ defense has been no different from usual, giving up 99.1 ppg versus a season average of 99.5 ppg. The offense, however, has suffered - scoring just 89.2 ppg versus a season average of 96.7 ppg.
Following a couple of days off, the Bucks will try to break out of their slump at Charlotte (11-24). The Bobcats are good team to try to turn it around against as Milwaukee was 4-0 against them last season.
The Bucks end the week with a matchup against the Nuggets (18-18) at home on Saturday.
Guard Maurice Williams (foot) is doubtful for Friday’s game against Charlotte. Meanwhile, Charlie Bell (knee) and Joe Smith (knee) are sidelined indefinitely.
