Rockets in flight in Oakland

(Basketball News) - Two teams headed for the lottery meet tonight, as the Golden State Warriors host the Houston Rockets at The Arena in Oakland.

This is the fourth and final meeting of the season between the clubs. The teams split a pair of games at the Toyota Center, while the Rockets beat Golden State, 111-105, in overtime on December 14th at The Arena.

The Rockets have won two of their last three at Golden State.

Houston, which has lost three straight games, plays the fourth of a six-game road trip. On Wednesday, Zach Randolph scored 17 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead the Portland Trail Blazers to a 76-75 victory over the Rockets at the Rose Garden.

Keith Bogans led the Rockets in the loss to Portland with a game-high 20 points on 8-of-13 shooting from the floor. Rookie Luther Head and Yao Ming both netted 13 in defeat, while Juwan Howard contributed 12 points and seven rebounds.

The Rockets are 17-20 on the road this season. The will visit Sacramento on Sunday and Utah on Monday in the finale of the swing.

Golden State has dropped six straight games and returns home after going 0-3 on a three-game road trip. On Wednesday, Chris Paul notched a triple-double with 17 points, 11 rebounds and 16 assists to lead the New Orleans/Oklahoma City Hornets to a 114-109 overtime victory over the Warriors at the Ford Center.

Jason Richardson led the way for the Warriors in the loss to the Hornets with a game-high 24 points to go along with six rebounds and eight assists. Derek Fisher ended with 22 points in defeat, while Mike Dunleavy netted 19 points pulled down six rebounds.

The Warriors are 18-19 at home this season.
