(Basketball News) - Peja Stojakovic scored a game-high 27 points and added eight rebounds to lead the Sacramento Kings over the Toronto Raptors, 96-81, on Sunday at Air Canada Centre.
Mike Bibby contributed 21 points and five assists for the Kings, who have won six of their last seven games.
After scoring a season-low 39 points in the first half, the Kings bounced back with 57 points after the intermission to pick up their third straight win over the Raptors.
In the third quarter, the Kings went on a 20-4 run to take the lead and they led the rest of the way. Bibby capped off the burst on two free throws with 1:49 left in the frame and Sacramento led 67-60. Toronto finished out the third quarter strong, by posting seven of the final nine points, but still trailed 69-67 after 36 minutes.
The fourth frame was all Sacramento as it started it with a 27-10 run to clinch the victory. Bibby also completed this spurt with two from the stripe and the Kings led 96-77 with just about three minutes let to play.
The Kings are 11-2 in Sunday games.
Sacramento is off until Tuesday when it hosts Stephon Marbury and the New York Knicks.
