Seattle’s Allen and Utah’s Okur named All-Star replacements

New York, NY (Basketball News) - The Seattle Supersonics’ Ray Allen and Mehmet Okur of the Utah Jazz have been named as replacements for the 2007 NBA All- Star Game this Sunday.

NBA Commissioner David Stern made the announcement Tuesday due to the injuries of West All-Stars Allen Iverson (ankle) of the Denver Nuggets and the Phoenix Suns’ Steve Nash (shoulder).

Chris Paul of the New Orleans/Oklahoma City Hornets will takes Nash’s spot in the Playstation Skills Challenge as well.
