Philadelphia, PA (Basketball News) - The Memphis Grizzlies go for their fourth straight victory when they visit Allen Iverson and the Philadelphia 76ers today for an afternoon contest at the Wachovia Center.

On Thursday, James Posey scored 16 of his 23 points in the fourth quarter, leading the Grizzlies to a 108-93 win over the Chicago Bulls at The Pyramid.

Posey hit 10-of-10 from the free throw line in the final period to help the Grizzlies capture their third straight win. Jason Williams added 20 points and nine assists, and the Grizzlies have now won five of their last six following a seven-game skid. Memphis has scored 100 points or more in each of the last six games, a franchise record.

"This system is wide open and under control. We get a lot of easy buckets in our system," Posey explained. "The team plays very unselfish and we pass the ball well."

Mike Miller and Bonzi Wells each chipped in 12 points for Memphis, which won its third straight at home to improve to 12-5 as the host this season.

Memphis’ Pau Gasol hit just 4-of-12 shots from the field and ended with 11 points in Thursday’s win.

The Grizzlies, who have won two in a row on the road, are 8-13 as the visitor this season.

Philadelphia returns home this afternoon after going 1-2 on a three-game road trip. On Wednesday, the 76ers were defeated by the Dallas Mavericks, 125-122, in double-overtime at American Airlines Center.

Glenn Robinson paced the Sixers with a game-high 34 points. Allen Iverson added 31 points, eight rebounds and seven assists for Philadelphia, which has lost two of its last three. Samuel Dalembert had a strong night for the Sixers with a career-high 24 points and 16 boards.

Robinson has started to find his game for Philadelphia, as he is averaging 24 points and 5.2 rebounds in the last five contests.

The 76ers, who have won two straight as the host, are 10-8 at home this season.

In 2002-03, the 76ers won both meetings with Grizzlies.

Overall, the Grizzlies are 1-6 all-time in Philadelphia, their only victory came on December 2, 2001. The 76ers have scored 100 points or more in nine of the 15 meetings all-time between the two squads. The Sixers lead the all-time series, 12-3.
