Spurs activate Ginobili from injured list

San Antonio, TX (Basketball News) - The San Antonio Spurs activated guard Manu Ginobili from the injured list Wednesday.

Ginobili has missed the last five games due to a sprained lower back. He suffered the injury during a loss to the Philadelphia 76ers on January 3.

In 33 games this season, Ginobili is averaging 13.5 points, 5.1 rebounds and 4.3 assists per contest.

Meanwhile, to make room on the active roster the Spurs placed guard Jason Hart on the injured list with left patella tendinitis.
