Orlando Magic Team Report - March 29

(Basketball News) - The Orlando Magic were crushed by the Dallas Mavericks, 118-88, on Sunday at TD Waterhouse Centre.

Drew Gooden netted 20 points with 10 boards to lead the Magic, who have dropped eight straight games. Tyronn Lue added 19 with five assists and Juwan Howard contributed 16 in the setback. Howard added 10 boards in defeat.

The Magic were without the services of All-Star Tracy McGrady, who sat out his sat out his second straight contest with tendinitis in his left. The Magic are now 0-8 without their superstar this season.

Orlando is off until Tuesday when it hosts the Chicago Bulls. The Magic are 0-2 against the Bulls this season. The teams will meet again on April 12th at the United Center.

Gooden has averaged 16 points and 6.6 rebounds in his last five games.
