Pacers get Barac from Heat

New York, NY (Basketball News) - The Indiana Pacers acquired the draft rights to center Stanko Barac from the Miami Heat for a 2009 second-round draft pick Thursday night.

The 7-foot-1 Barac, chosen 39th overall, averaged 13 points and 7.1 rebounds in his third season playing for Siroki in his native Bosnia-Herzegovina.
