Pat Riley Committed to the Miami Heat

Riley was asked before Friday’s game if he was committed to coaching next season.

"I’m committed to this team," he said, referencing his dual role as team president. "I am absolutely committed to this team. We’ve got a lot of work to do and I don’t think that’s an issue right now."…

Still an issue is avoiding the franchise’s all-time worst record of 15-67, established during the inaugural 1988-89 season under current assistant coach Ron Rothstein. [Sun-Sentinel]
