(Basketball News) - Allen Iverson had 22 points and nine assists as the Philadelphia 76ers snapped a six-game skid with a 93-88 win over the Chicago Bulls.
Samuel Dalembert tallied 13 points, 14 rebounds and six blocked shots in his first start of the season for the Sixers, who won for the 10th time in 11 games at the United Center.
Marc Jackson added 17 points and six rebounds off the bench for Philadelphia, while Andre Iguodala and Kyle Korver each had 11 points and Kenny Thomas 10.
The Sixers took a 77-68 advantage into the final 12 minutes, and an Iverson jumper with just under five minutes to play in the game gave Philadelphia a seemingly comfortable 91-78 lead.
But the Bulls rallied, scoring 10 straight to pull within three points at 91-88 with 1:30 remaining. Chicago had a chance to tie it with a three- pointer, but Iverson stole the ball with 20 seconds left and was fouled. Philadelphia inbounded and Iguodala got fouled and hit two free throws to put the Sixers up five. His two foul shots would be the last points of the game.
Philly returns to the court on Sunday when it hosts the Milwaukee Bucks.
