Philadelphia 76ers Team Report - January 24

=== Philadelphia 76ers Team Report - January 24 ===

(Basketball News) - The Philadelphia 76ers try to get back on the winning track this evening when they head to Cleveland to face the Cavaliers at Gund Arena.

Philadelphia continues to struggle and on Friday found itself on the wrong end of a 98-93 decision to the Orlando Magic. Allen Iverson paced the Sixers with 30 points, but the Sixers lost more than just their fourth game in five tries.

Forward Derrick Coleman will miss at least six weeks after fracturing his right pinkie finger in the first half, while leading rebounder Kenny Thomas also left the game with a corneal abrasion in his left eye and will miss tonight’s contest.

Iverson sustained a bruised left hand and a sprained right index finger on Friday and had X-rays taken after the game. He will be re-evaluated on Saturday.

Philadelphia has lost seven of its last 10 games on the road and is 9-13 away from home this season.

The Cavaliers have already beaten the Sixers twice this season, but have lost 17 of the last 20 meetings. Philadelphia, though, has dropped 17 of its last 26 in Cleveland.
