(Basketball News) - LeBron James poured in a game-high 38 points and Zydrunas Ilgauskas added 24, leading the Cleveland Cavaliers to a 114-109 overtime win against the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday at Gund Arena.
Drew Gooden contributed 16 points and a career-high 21 rebounds, while Jeff McInnis chipped in 17 points for Cleveland, which has won two straight after opening the season with three straight losses.
Ilgauskas buried his fourth career three-pointer and the first since last February in the victory over the Suns.
James has averaged 28.6 points, 7.8 rebounds and 6.4 assists in Cleveland’s first five games, while Ilgauskas has registered 20.6 points and nine boards per game.
The Cavaliers are off until Saturday when they host Antawn Jamison and the Washington Wizards. Last season, the teams split four contests as each club won once on the road and once at home.
