Rockets place Maurice Taylor on injured list

Houston, TX (Basketball News) - The Houston Rockets placed forward Maurice Taylor on the injured list with the flu, while activating forward Clarence Weatherspoon.

Taylor, 28, has played in 37 games this season and is averaging 7.8 points and 4.3 rebounds per contest. Taylor now has to sit out for at least five games, while recovering from the sickness.

The 34-year-old Weatherspoon has been sidelined with a calf injury and has played in just 11 games this season. He is averaging 2.3 points and 1.9 rebounds per game.
