(Basketball News) - Sacramento fell for the third straight game to start the season, as the Kings were defeated by the Houston Rockets, 104-101, in overtime on Saturday at the Toyota Center.
Mike Bibby had 31 points, seven rebounds and seven assists for the Kings, who are 0-3 to start a season for the first time since 1997 when they started 0-4. Peja Stojakovic added 23 points and Chris Webber tallied 20 points and 13 boards, as Sacramento has lost three straight for the first time since January 24-28, 2003.
Webber recorded his 360th double-double of his career. Sacramento outrebounded the Rockets, 54-44, in the loss.
Houston beat the Kings for only the third time in 17 outings. The Kings lost for only the third time in nine trips to Houston.
Bibby has averaged 20.7 points five rebounds and 5.3 assists in his first three games of the season, while Webber has registered 19.7 points and 10.7 boards per contest.
The Kings are off until Tuesday when they host the Toronto Raptors. Last season, Sacramento swept the two games between the two clubs.
