(Basketball News) - The struggling Seattle SuperSonics visit the Orlando Magic tonight at TD Waterhouse Centre. This is the first meeting of the season between the two teams. The squads will play again on March 21st at KeyArena.
The Magic have won two straight after losing the last three contests with the Sonics. These two teams have split the last 14 meetings. Seattle has lost four of its last five at Orlando.
Seattle plays the second of a five-game road trip tonight. On Friday, the Sonics fell to the Miami Heat, 82-74, at AmericanAirlines Arena.
Rashard Lewis, Ray Allen and Ronald Murray had 16 points apiece for Seattle, which has dropped six in a row. Jerome James added nine points as the Sonics lost their fourth straight road game.
The Sonics are 11-20 on the road this season.
Seattle is seven games behind the eighth-place Denver Nuggets for the last playoff spot in the Western Conference.
