Suns deal Voskuhl to Bobcats 07.28.2005

The Arizona Republic reported that with Voskuhl’s $1.875 million off the books for next season, Phoenix will be in a better position to match the five-year, $70 million offer sheet that the Atlanta Hawks are reportedly set to offer Johnson.
However, no deal can become official until the new collective bargaining agreement is ratified.
Voskuhl had spent the last four seasons with the Suns, who acquired him from Chicago prior to the start of the 2001-02 campaign. Last year the 27-year-old Connecticut product appeared in just 38 games and averaged 2.1 points and 2.4 rebounds in 9.5 minutes.
The 6-foot-11, 255-pound Voskuhl was the 33rd overall pick by Chicago in the 2000 NBA Draft.
