Phoenix, AZ (Basketball News) - The Phoenix Suns agreed to a contract buyout with guard Howard Eisley on Friday, then subsequently waived him.

"We are happy to have reached an agreement with Howard that satisfies the mutual interests of Howard’s family and our team," said Suns president and general manager Bryan Colangelo. "We wish Howard the best with his next opportunity and thank him for his professionalism and his contributions to our club."

The 10-year NBA veteran owns career averages of 6.8 points, 1.8 rebounds and 3.6 assists in 680 games with six different teams (Minnesota, San Antonio, Utah, Dallas, New York, Phoenix).
